I gave this product 3 stars because it really does clean dishes pretty well. I knocked it down in ratingId because everytime i unload the washer EVERYTHING in it is coated in a slimey mess. Not sure what is going on with it, but it gets pretty frustratingId and annoying (not to mention a waste of money) to have to put it on a short cycle w/o soap to get the dishes rinsed.
Excellent product. Dishwasher and dishes come out beautiful. Apparently some of your complaints must come from people with very hard water. My water is both softened and filtered because of high iron content. I highly recommend this product.
It really removes stuck on food and dishes come out incredibly clean. No need to rerinse.
I use Cascade platinum & it does a excellent job, even after dishes have been sitting for 12+ hours. They always come out very clean and spotless, no food particles or residue on anything. Costs a little more than other brands, but well worth it.
I have used Cascade in just about every form that has been produced for over 40 years. My favorite is the old products that use to include TSP. Since TSP has been taken out of all dishwashing detergents I use the Platinum Cascade Pacs and that is the next best I have found for my dishwasher and dishes. It does a good job of cleaning my dishes and does not leave a any grime in my dishwasher. Besides I love Dawn for my liquid soap, especially for greasy things. I also trust and use a lot of P&G products.
