The brand has built good will with me. They take me back to the 90s. I did find one with more joules protection, but went with this one. This does give me more of an indication of what's wrong with the outlet, reverse polarity, etc. good thing to have if I use it in another person's house. Also, it has a built in child/sneeze guard on the outlets.

Locating 4 receptacles on the side and spaced so 4 transformers can be used without blocking each other was a great move.

Simple Surge Protection for 8 outlets and includes phone splitter. One nice feature is that 4 of the outlets are spaced further apart for larger plugs. Can't go wrong. Highly recommended!
