I have been buying this kind of calendar for a number of years. I like the size because it is a little bigger than a normal piece of paper and I can slip papers into it as needed. I also like being able to see the whole month at a glance so i can plan ahead easily. The tabs on the sides make it easy to get to the month i need to look at. Room for "Quick notes" on the side of each month allows me to scribble a few reminders, to-do list, phone numbers, etc, as well as being able to use the extra note pages in the back of the calendar for "list of things to do", "work vacation day totals", and other useful things that are not necessarily scheduled on the calendar section. I still enjoy a paper version of my personal calendar and this style works best for me in all ways.

I have used this planner for years. Love the PINK one, but have to order online. Can find the black one.
I'm the Administrator for a NY church and I've used this planner successfully for over 7 years. I order it 3 or 4 months before the new year comes in to make sure that I have it. I highly recommend this planner.
