Move 321/45 numbers to top right corner of date box, just like the SK8 layout.
Move the date number, 16 for today 11/16/16, up to the top left corner of date box, just like the SK8 layout.
Years ago, before the "cute designers" made the unnecessary changes, the SK25 date box layout was exactly like the SK8. This is a traditional layout design. One that has well served calendar users for years. Dump the cute redesign and go back to the conventional and more useful date box layout.
