I don't believe this has adhesive backing. I checked the backside corners to see if there was a way to peel it off, like stickers, but did not succeed. It also seems that if I was able to remove the backing that covers the sticky side, it would become a very thin and flimsy calendar. It is possible I simply couldn't find the peel-off layer - not sure, so I just glued magnets to the back. Otherwise the calendar does its job.
