I have two elementary age children. Like a lot of parents, I am often overwhelmed by the sheer number of papers and projects they bring home from school! I want to keep a lot of them, but they can create such a large amount of clutter. I've found the easiest solution is two banker's boxes. Every year, each child gets a new bankers box that has their name and grade on them. Each night, as I clean out their folders/backpacks, I set aside the things I want to keep and say, "Ok, go put this in your box." At the end of the year, they go into storage, and a new box is purchased. The boxes have a good lid and are easily stackable, making them great for storage. The only thing keeping them from being perfect is that they aren't waterproof or pest proof, so I don't feel comfortable keeping them in the attic. Other than that, they are the perfect solution!
