Taking notes
The odd size is quirky and fun for Americans who don't use A5 paper, but 8.5" x 11". I love this notebook, the pages tear out easily, when you want them to, but stay put, as necessary, when you don't need them detached. The paper quality is superb and great to write on. And the notebook is study and easy to write on even without a firm surface beneath.
I love the ruled lines and they are just the right size since i write large. I've use it several times daily with both my personal and professional use. I like that it has a poly cover since sometimes i do set it down and it keeps the paper from getting wet if a table has liquid on it. the red elastic helps to keep it closed and keeps my other notes in. I would definitely purchase more.
Plenty of lined pages...spiral to side allows notebook to lay flat when entering info and can be folded over, not using much space.
I travel to Mexico for work. I have never been able to memorize the conversion tables from standard to metric. My cell phone is not always available for me to look up the information I need quick while I am making purchase decisions. The Black n' Red notebook has a durable front page - after the main black cover. This page has a pocket that can be used to store my receipts in. It also includes all the useful conversion tables that I need.
The paper itself is a nice 24# white with out the holes in it like other spiral notebooks. I like this because it gives it a more professional look.
