I like this china marker better than using a charcoal pencil. The charcoal pencil is so messy. It gets all over everything. Where as with the china marker is a nice clean finish. I have been drawing with the china marker now and would not go back to charcoal ever again.

I have used these pencils to write on multiple things. Examples I wrote on the side of my window for etching marks to cut with, I I have wrote on ceramic I've rode on tile I brought it on my fridge raider just to see if it works it works amazing it is perfect tool for carpentry. These work great for marking for do it yourself projects or even for coloring. They can work for most any project needed. My kids have used them more then I have. They find them useful even for school.

These have been so useful to have on hand. We recently moved and are doing alot of decoratingId and, wall hangings, and just many different "projects". These are so great because they write on anything!!! Metal, Plastic, Glass, Painted walls, Stainless steel, wood, I mean literally anything!!! They are great for marking measurements, like when you are trying to hang pictures. You don't destroy the wall with permanent marker or strain your eyes trying to see a pencil mark. These are very dark and thick writing, but can actually be wiped away if needed! Another great thing is that you don't have to carry a pencil sharpener around with you because you just unroll the string like wrap to expose more of the marker! My husband loves these for cutting wood for building at home, and for his various labor needs at work.

My husband has been using these on the projects he has been doing around they house and loves them as he can write or mark on the surfaces that he is working on and then wipe it clean so you had no idea that it was there they really came in handy. and its great not to have to worry about a pencil sharpener to sharpen then
