Cheap moving tapes waste lots of time when they become tangled or when you cannot find the end of the roll. Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with cheap packing tape which some professional movers might give you. They are a false economy.
Duck HP260 is the only moving tape I recommend. Scotch makes something close, but not as good. None of Staples private label tape is worth buying, even their so-called strongest stuff.
Duck HP260 has many uses. It is waterproof, remains clear and does not yellow, is impervious to freezing cold or moderate heat, and does not ever ooze sticky residue around the edges, so it can be used to protect labels on packages and envelopes or key tags or in the workshop.
I often use it for household repairs, because it is strong and easy to handle.
Buy extra. You will find it handy to have around.
