I bought this because I thought it would be fun to have but in the back of my mind I was kind of expecting I would bore easy of it the way many do when buying something like this. However this little gadget is awesome. It's super easy to change out the ribbon so I can jump between colors (bought a combo pack of labels with it) so easy that I am not limited in style. I researched various brands of label makers to be sure I got the best quality. This brand had the highest ratingIds. One of the things people focused on besides the variety of fonts since you can hook it up to your pc and use any font you want was that this brand wasted the least amount of Label. It leaves about a half an inch on either side of the writing. The only part that is a little annoying is the extra steps you have to take to even add a period let alone other symbols (which they do give you a very decent variety to choose from) If they made it easier to use punctuation It would be a perfect gadget
