I have been writing with Pentel Quicker Clickers for over twenty five years, and I think they're the greatest. The side mounted clicker lets you advance the lead much faster than conventional end-mounted buttons on other mechanical pencils. The shape and feel is very comfortable and provides a good grip without fatiguing your hand. As long as I will have to write notes and mark-up plans and reports, I will be using a Quicker Clicker. There's plenty of cheap mechanical pencils on the market, but if you want the best, go with a Pentel.
