As I said it does what you expect a pen to do. It can probably replace or compete with a sharpie. Did use for everyday use including labeling food, boxes, cards, paper, it'll work on any surface, go for it

I use permanent markers everyday in my jewelry business. This Zebra PM-701 is amazing. It’s sleek and gorgeous. It has a medium tip so it allows me to write in a small area or big when I need it more noticeable. I’m a marker snob and some just don’t make the cut but this one is my new favorite.
