This product saves your file cabinet from overstuffed hanging files. We all overstuff a file folder once in awhile, and those files end up in a regular hanging file. The file tab disappears, covered up by too much paper, and the hanging file contorts under too much weight. It makes the file contents stick up and catch as you open and close the file drawer. It's so annoying! These box bottom hanging folders are designed to hold more contents, so you can split up that overstuffed file, but keep all of it together.
