I work in a dental office and I use the Smead File Jackets for all of our Patient files. They keep everything together safely and securely, without loose papers or objects coming out when I pull charts. They are sturdy and hold up to what I put in them. I would highly recommend this product to other buyers.
The Smead File Jacket is a great product to use. I have been using this product for a while and the jacket is still in excellent condition. the jackets material is thick and does not easily tear. I would recommend it to everyone.
Great product but, I would like to see it's durability improved.
I used these for home filing (because I normally use the 2 inch expandable for work, I knew the quality of these was exceptional). They are sturdy and well made. The flat bottom when expanded keeps files from falling over or sliding under another file folder.
Set up an easy filing system by subject matter: Easy to read label and can be color coded. When filing drop in latest document/item to file in the front. Keeps your desk free of clutter, easy to file and easy to access, papers do not fall out and you do not have to punch, or stable paperwork to keep in date order. If needed a 1/3 cut file folder could be added for pictures divider, etc. It also makes it easy to clean out old files, and reuse the folders. My "messy desk bosses" loved this easy system that helped them find information easy and fast. They also liked that they could carry a pocket file with them to a meeting.
