I have used these particular folders for years and they last for years. You have an adjustable tab that you can set wherever you like on the folder, front or back. These folders are perfect!

If it wasn't for the way Smead packaged these hanging folders, this would be a 4-5 star product. Standard packaging from other manufacturers ship their hanging folders flat - as would be common sense. However, Smead is using narrower and taller packaging - resulting in annoyingly stiffly-curved hanging folders that never relax to hang straight.

Organization is a gift you give yourself. It allows you to access everything you own. Files have a special place in that process. They handle the minutia of life, those details that are two-dimensional and easy to lay to waste. With hanging file folders it is possible to maintain easy access to every single fact in your life. It is the best gift you can give yourself...easy access to every detail of your life.

All the doc were here and there messy in my studio until I purchased this file at amazon.com. It had a very reasonable price and I bought just one box and it did declutter my life once and for all. I can give a strong recommendation for this.

We have bought many of these Hanging folders for our newest location and they are inferior in comparison to the SMEAD product.Smead's do not break like the others and we will never buy another brand again.
