Not only did these work great for moving clothes from one place to another, but also work great for storing seasonal clothing.
We were running out of space (closets) and had Conformation Robes to store and I thought of the wardrobe boxes would be perfect to keep them safe. They were easy to find, reasonably price, and really good quality.
This is the second time I purchased the 3 wardrobe moving boxes from Bankers Box. I used them the last time I moved, and they were excellent! First of all, they arrived on time in great packaging that made sure they were in pristine condition and easy to take out of the packaging. The assembly was super easy! It took me less than 5 minutes to assemble them. They are really sturdy. I was able to put all of my clothing on the rack and the box held up really well. The movers really appreciated side handles that made the boxes easy to transport. Once they came to my new apartment, the boxes looked as good as prior to the move! The clothing remained on the rack during the move and I was super pleased with the boxes. I just ordered them again for my move. I love them and recommend them!
These are the best solution for moving a whole closet. They also will hold shoes, etc. in the bottom, and bulky things like pictures if you slip them in between the clothing items. I have already recommended them to several friends who have to move in the near future. I took off one star on the handles, only because the handles are simple cutouts in the sides of the box. Don't get me wrong, they work. But if you load the box fully and lift repeatedly, they will get chewed up. I got around this by using packing tape on all the bottom edges of the box when I assembled it, so that I can just slide the box around on the carpet without having to stress the handles. This also works.
